  • Create Folder: FromDocuments\SightLab2\Projects make a copy of BlankProject.
  • Add Assets: Place 3D models or 360° media into the resources folder. Alternatively, use resources from the "built-in" option in the GUI (there are also resources you can copy from the SampleProject).
  • Launch GUI: Open SightLab_VR.py in your BlankProject copy folder to launch the SightLab GUI
  • Open Editor: Click Modify in the GUI to load environments, models, or 360 media (Use the "Built-In" option to select pre-included assets). Press "Done" and then "Continue" to save changes and start your session.
  • Start/End Trials: Press Submit to click past participant info. Default controls use Spacebar to start/stop. See all controls here. Press the "p" key to toggle viewing the gaze point (off by default). For custom start/stop methods, advanced trial options and editing assets, refer to the documentation. Press Escape or click the top right 'x' to close this window.
  • Replay & Review Data: Use SightLabVR_Replay.py for session replay (use Spacebar to start/stop); view data files in the data folder.
