SightLab Dashboard

The new SightLab Dashboard gives you a single window to browse, search, launch, and manage all your SightLab content. Create new projects from templates, discover example scripts organized by category, mark favorites, and launch apps like Vizard and Inspector — all without navigating folders. Customize cards with thumbnails and descriptions, attach videos and documentation, manage multi-user scripts, and sort projects by name or date. Available as a standalone executable with light and dark theme support.

New Projects Workflow and Management

With the new dashboard you now have an easier way to create and manage projects across multiple folders, including the ability to easily edit code, view replays, and more

AI Agent

Set Start and End Instructions in the GUI

SightLab 2.8 now supports directly adding start and end instructions in the GUI for a very quick and simple way to add participant instructions.

Barchart Visualization Updates

You can now set the option to view barchart visualizations of the view count, view time and average view time data directly in the GUI or sightlab class.

Multi-Lingual AI Agents Using Edge TTS

Both in the AI Conversational agents and E-Learning Lab you can now choose from over 40 different languages and the agent will listen and respond in that language with no need to download any voice packs or use APIs (requires internet connection)

E-Learning Lab Updates

  • Can now upload any documents, images or zip files to generate presentations
  • Added ability to upload powerpoint or pdf slides and have the Presentation Generator use AI vision to automatically generate content
  • Ability to upload custom lesson plan content to the Presentation Generator
  • Image generation updated to Nano Banana 2
