VizMove Projection Mode

Activating 3D Mode

Carefully follow these steps to switch your theater from 2D to 3D mode:

  1. Before you begin, quit all running applications on the PRISM server PC.
  2. Using the projector remote control, switch each projector's 3D mode to ON. If you're lucky and can aim the remote control at all projectors simultaneously, you may be able to switch all of them at once. If not, you'll need to use a ladder and power on each projector one at a time to change its setting. (Watch video)
  3. In the nVidia control panel, go to the Change Resolution section, select each display, and change the resolution setting to Custom 1280 x 800 (120Hz). Adjust each display's resolution, then hit the Apply button once for all 3 monitors. Wait for the projectors to stop flashing, and then quickly click the confirmation dialog box to keep changes.
  4. While still in the nVidia control panel, go to the Manage 3D Settings section to verify that Stereo Enable is set to On.

Carefully follow these steps to switch your theater from 3D to 2D mode:

  1. Quit all running applications and windows on the PRISM server PC, including the PRISM server and Touch apps.
  2. Using the projector remote control, switch each projector's 3D mode to OFF. If you're lucky and can aim the remote control at all projectors simultaneously, you may be able to switch all of them at once. If not, you'll need to use a ladder and power on each projector one at a time to change its setting. (Watch video)
  3. In the nVidia control panel, go to the Change Resolution section, select each display, and change the resolution setting to 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz (or use the custom resolution created specifically for your system). Adjust each display's resolution, then hit the Apply button once for all 3 monitors. Wait for the projectors to stop flashing, and then quickly click the confirmation dialog box to keep changes. Warning: some systems require adjusting the primary (leftmost) screen first, followed by the other screens.
  4. Restart the PC one more time to return to full 2D mode.

Troubleshooting

Displays flash during resolution change but don't retain new settings

Issue: Sometimes nVidia drivers get stuck and don't allow you to change all projector resolutions at the same time.

Solution: - Try changing the resolution for a single projector and apply the settings. - Follow this process one projector at a time for each device.

PPT Eyes status light flashes or doesn't illuminate

Issue: The PPT Eyes device is not functioning properly, indicated by a flashing or non-illuminating status light.

Solution: - Your PPT Eyes device needs charging. - The charging port is located on the bar connecting the two white orbs.

PPT Wand status light flashes or doesn't illuminate

Issue: The PPT Wand device is not functioning properly, indicated by a flashing or non-illuminating status light.

Solution: - Your PPT Wand device needs charging. - The charging port is on the bar connecting the two white orbs.

3D glasses are slowly blinking black and clear

Issue: If your glasses are blinking slowly (about once per second), they need recharging.

Solution: - Each pair of glasses is an integrated device, and the charging port for the 3D shutter controller is on the bottom.

nVidia resolution 1920 x 1200 is missing

Issue: The 1920 x 1200 resolution is unavailable in the nVidia control panel.

Solution: - Restart the computer and retry the steps for switching from 3D to 2D mode. - If the problem persists, contact World Support and consider reinstalling your graphics drivers.
