PRISM Image Generator (IG) / Server

The PRISM Image Generator (IG) is the core computing and graphics powerhouse of the PRISM system, responsible for managing and driving all PRISM components, including projectors, sound, lighting, and touch controls. The IG hosts the PRISM Server software, which synchronizes and saves all PRISM Scenes, ensuring seamless playback on the PRISM Controller in the Scene Player software.

FAQs

Do I have to turn my IG off at the end of the day?

No, the IG is designed to operate continuously. As a server PC, it can remain on 24/7 to ensure constant availability and minimize setup time.

Note

Leaving the IG on overnight can help maintain consistent system performance.

Why is a PRISM system component (e.g., projector, sound, light, or touch control) not working?

A quick restart of the IG often resolves minor issues with any PRISM system component.

Tip

To restart the IG, power it down completely, wait for 10 seconds, then turn it back on. This process can clear up temporary glitches and reset connections.
