Lighting System
The PRISM Lighting System is managed via the Tablet Controller. You can control lighting within any PRISM scene by using the color wheel to adjust hue, saturation, and brightness. Additionally, preset colors and effects are available for quick adjustments.
FAQs
My lights stayed on in my room when I turned my system off.
If the lights remain on after shutting down the system, it may be due to exiting the PRISM scene incorrectly. Here’s how to resolve this:
- Restart the Theater and Adjust Lighting:
- Turn the theater back on.
-
Play any scene, then turn the lighting off from within that scene.
-
Correct Shutdown Procedure:
- Always close out of your current PRISM scene before turning off the theater to ensure that lighting settings do not persist.
Tip
Following the proper shutdown process will prevent lighting settings from the last scene from "sticking."
When I select a light setting, the system shows an error that I am not connected.
This issue may occur if the system is unable to communicate with the HUE Bridge, which controls the lighting. Follow these steps to reconnect:
- Locate the HUE Bridge:
-
The HUE Bridge is a small white box plugged into your PRISM IG.
-
Power Cycle the HUE Bridge:
- Press the button in the center of the HUE Bridge to reset it. This action will power cycle the bridge and reestablish connection with the PRISM Lighting System.
Warning
Do not disconnect the HUE Bridge from power while resetting. Simply press the button to avoid system complications.
