WorldViz Touch

The WorldViz TOUCH System includes wall-mounted sensors, typically located beneath each projector. These sensors detect touch commands like taps and swipes, which are registered by the PRISM system. The TOUCH software starts automatically when the PRISM room is powered on.

I created a trigger, but the scene is not registering when I touch my trigger.

Follow these steps to troubleshoot touch trigger issues:

  1. Check for Unintentional Activations
  2. Ensure there are no objects or people unintentionally activating the TOUCH sensors. Common obstructions include:
    • Bags or personal items leaning against the walls
    • People standing close to or leaning on a wall
    • Doors that open into the room, potentially making contact with the sensor area

Warning

Make sure the area around each wall-mounted sensor is clear of obstructions to avoid continuous activation.

  2. Confirm that you are using the correct gestures for touch commands: a quick tap or a right-to-left swipe. These are the standard gestures recognized by the PRISM system.
