Sound System

The PRISM Sound System is a 4.1 speaker setup with an amplifier, which connects to the PRISM Image Generator (IG) via an audio cable to deliver immersive audio experiences within the PRISM environment.

FAQs

Why can’t I hear any sound in the scene that I am playing?

Here are some steps to help diagnose and resolve sound issues:

  1. Verify Scene Sound Settings
  2. Ensure that the scene has sound enabled:
    • The source video may include sound.
    • Sound can be added as ambient sound.
    • A trigger within the scene may initiate sound.

  3. Try playing a different scene with sound. If that scene plays sound, the issue is likely with the original scene settings rather than the Sound System.

  4. Check IG Volume Settings

  5. Ensure the sound on the IG is not muted or turned down.
  6. Use the volume keys on the Wireless Keyboard and Trackpad included with your IG to increase the volume.
  7. Set the volume to maximum to verify sound output.

Warning

If the volume keys don’t affect the sound, make sure the audio output is set to the amplifier in your system’s sound settings.

  1. Confirm Amplifier Power and Status
  2. Check if the amplifier is turned on and verify that there are 5 solid blue lights on the front panel.
  3. If there are no blue lights, press the power button on the front panel.
  4. If still no lights appear, check the power connection to ensure the amplifier is receiving power.
