Publishing as an EXE

To publish a lesson as an executable file (so a user running it doesn't need Vizard and SightLab installed), follow these steps:

  1. Under Options, turn off AI Agent Assistance and Speech Recognition — these do not currently work with exe builds for the E-Learning Lab.
  2. Choose the Project in the E-Learning Lab and run it once.
  3. Find the file E_Learning_Lab_Single_Publish.py in the E-Learning Lab folder and open it in the Vizard application.
  4. In Vizard, choose File > Publish as exe. This may take a bit of time to finish.
  5. When it's done, you'll have an exe file in the same folder, which you can rename and send out to other users.
