SightLab AI Kit
The SightLab AI Kit is a free plugin from WorldViz that teaches your AI assistant how SightLab works. Once installed, Claude or ChatGPT's Codex can answer SightLab questions with the file and line, write and fix SightLab 2 scripts from a description or a paper, and, on the Windows PC that has SightLab and Vizard, check and run your experiment for you before you put a headset on.
It works in the Claude desktop app (and Claude Code) and in the Codex app (and the Codex CLI). You install it once from WorldViz's plugin marketplace on GitHub; updates arrive on their own.

What it does
- Answers questions about SightLab 2's GUI, Python API and data files, citing the real source.
- Builds experiments from your description, a paper's methods section, or a Fit Check brief, in checked steps.
- Checks scripts against the SightLab version you have installed.
- Runs the experiment itself in desktop mode, drives the prompts and ratings like a participant, and reports what happened, when it runs on a PC with SightLab 2 and Vizard 8.

The kit covers SightLab 2 today. A SightLab 3 skill will be added to the same plugin.
Already using the SightLab VR Assistant in ChatGPT?
Keep it. The SightLab VR Assistant in ChatGPT's plugin directory is the same plugin, and it updates to the new kit automatically once the new version clears OpenAI's review. The installation guide above is for people who use the Claude or Codex desktop apps, or who want the new version in Codex before the directory catches up.
